Makii Masaru Fine Arts is located in Asakusabashi. It is a mono-tone solitary house gallery. The gallery was originally established in July of 1998 in Shinbashi and moved to Asakusabashi in July of 2005. The area now is changing to a new sight for the contemporary art where many galleries are concentrated. As it is located in downtown Tokyo, the accessibility is very fine. Also, the low prices and many restaurants, the area meets the cultural requirement of the artists to gather around. The gallery is a 2-story house; the two floors are exhibition area. The L-shaped space is its characteristics. It is our goal to be a place of dispatch the energetic art-scene where multifarious artists can express themselves freely without questioning their genre, experiences and nationalities.
